Buttweiser – Barfly (Glasgow) – 02/02/2004 Venue Barfly...On this stormy night, [not for the faint hearted]..may I add, good show to everybody who made it out. 1st band on, where No Longer Deprived...I hadn't seen these guys before,but I had heard good things about them and I wasn't disapointed.. these young guns from Greenock.. played a knock out set they have a superb sound defenetly a band for the future...2nd Buttwiser, what can I say, about these lads.. well i'll try..after thier brilliant gig at the cathouse, I had to see for myself the Buttwiser phenomenon, they didn't disapiont they delivered,song after song,like a frenzied attack on your body, they have a great sence of homour which is reflected in the way they hold the stage, I can see great things to come..so don't be anal.. check-out Buttwiser......the 3rd band where, Left of the Offender.. this was thier debute gig,they have a fantastic sound, they played the audience brillantly, especially when the lead singer had a solo spot.[I admit that was special] .....last but not least was Recess Monkez, like I say I hadn't seen or heard much about these bands, and little on these guys and I was impressed by thier attitude they wher deserved headliners they effortlessly breezed through thier set...
